ICC FIRED SUNIL GAVASKAR



The little master Sunil Gavaskar is going to be fired by ICC. The leading cricket expert commentator of all time has awarded the prestigious position of "Chairman of ICC cricket committee" in 28th June, 2000.He also act ac as cricket expert and commentator in ESPNSTAR network.

During the India tour to Australia series many controversies arises.Bhaji's racism row,umpire wrong decision and sledging were some of them.The second test between India and Australia in forgettable series for all the Indian fans.During this test Gavaskar made many comment about the potential of the umpire and spirit of the Australian players.His comments like"This is utter nonsense; Sorry Benson you got all wrong; Benson you should consult third umpire rather than Ponting; millions of indians want to know whether 'white man' taking 'white man words' ; etc.."his comment about the Australian players on field behavior and the umpires made the ICC to take a tough decision against him.

So during the meting which was held on last week in Dubai,the working members of ICC unanimously voted against Sunny to step down as the chairman of the
ICC cricket committee.The ICC working committee told that no person should hold two position so we are taking this action against him.

Support for Gavaskar:
The Former captain,allrounder and a team mate of Gavaskar, Kapil Dev told that, "If sunny can't do that,no one can do that. I don't think that's correct, because these people have alivelihood of a commenter or of writing columns. I personally think it is wrong. You doubt Sunil's credibility. It's even wrong to think that he can be partial. They can't say that."

Former England Captain Graham Gooch also support for Gavaskar and said: “I am sure he knows his responsibilities. The issue is between the ICC and Gavaskar. I worked with Gavaskar on television. He also added that,"He is a very fine player and obviously a very good commentator. So, I consider him to be a friend."

Players like Gangully,Jadeja and more people support Gavaskar for this controversial action against him..
