Harshitha Saxena ,the winner of Miss India Earth has now surrendered the crown and Tanvi Vyas has been crowned as the new Pantaloons Femina Miss India Earth 2008.Tanvi will now go on to represent India in the international pageant. Harshita Saxena has withdrawn her candidature from the pageantdue to the allegations raised by Gladrags officials.
According to the source, the President of Gladrags beauty pageants Maureen Wadia claimed that Harshita is a model from her company and under contract with them.Maureen also said Harshita could not participate in any other beauty contest and threatened legal action against the beauty queen. Harshita was the third runner-up at the glittering Miss India event held at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai on Saturday night.
Harshita Saxena from Goa is a Gladrags model. She was a part of Megamodel Contract in April 2006. Her contract has not expired and this girl has entered in some other contest before the contract has expired. The contract clearly says that they have to take my permission.But this girl didn't get permission from the Gladrags.So the gladrags official threaten her that they will take criminal action against her. So that the Miss India Earth title winner harshitha surrender her crown and step down as miss india earth.
