London and Paris train service is done by Eurostar. Eurostar had completed 12 years in passenger service . They are also expanding their service between UK and the continental Europe .
In their latest achievement Eurostar has laid high speed tracks across the Europe to fasten their service. These tracks will support a maximum speed of 186 kmph. The total journey time between Paris and London will be just 2hrs and 15 mins . Eurostar also improved their frequency of their service.
Eurostar will be successful alternative to flight services since they will be more reliable and environmental friendly since they emit less amount of CO2 when compared to flight.
Locals will also support train journey inside Europe, since it will be more economical,reliable, also one of the ways to reduce the impact on climatic change.
But in India plans are going on to laid high speed tracks between mostly populated cities such as Chennai- Mumbai, Chennai-Bangalore.
